My restaurant is family owned and operated in Plymouth, Massachusetts, specializing in local and organic foods, and honoring sustainable and biodynamic practices – meals made from scratch, made with love.

Some guests think that it is a labor of love to find the restaurant.

I am located at the intersection of Old Sandwich Road,Old Tavern Trail and Long Ridge Road. The front of the building faces Old Sandwich, which is a dirt road. The entrance to parking is on Old Tavern Trail which is paved. Follow the directions on this web site to arrive by way of paved roads. Call for help if you feel lost 508-224-8900. After your first trip it will be a breeze.

Set in the historic Wright Tavern on Old Sandwich Road, Martha's Stone Soup captures the spirit of the story of the same name.

Chef Martha Stone prepares her signature dishes and a variety of specials ranging from home style favorites to haute cuisine. The dining room harkens back to the tavern's past, capturing the relaxed ambience of an 18th century tavern complete with community as well as individual seating.

We hope you discover that we, like the story, bring people together for a memorable dining experience.

The basics

Open year round

Martha’s  Stone Soup is open  Wednesday evenings from 5 to 9, serving selections from her former restaurant's menu, Martha's Galley.
The regular menu and special daily offerings are served Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 to 2:30 and 5 until 10. High Tea is available from 11 to 2:30 and additionally from 2:30 to 4, by advance reservation.

All of the menus are available to view on the pages listed to the left.

The regular menu is available at all times and is complemented by a large selection of specials and a variety of tea, beer, wine and cocktails. All major credit cards are accepted. Gift certificates are available.
